We are a medium-sized manufacturing and trading company with the advantageous location in Central Europe. Our main activity is the manufacture of wire. Our goal is to become one of the leading manufacturers of wire in Europe. We are providing top quality products and are constantly improving. An interest in occupational safety, concern for employee satisfaction, environmental protection and maintaining good relationships with our partners are of the great importance to us.
Our priority are top quality products delivered with an above-standard service and permanent improvement of products reflecting the increasing requirements of our customers.
The company is certified according to standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. All management systems are integrated. We are also intensively working on the introduction of the automotive quality management standard IATF 16949, which should be introduced by 2024/2025. We place emphasis on education and improving the qualifications of our employees.
Our production programme includes wires without surface coating (blank wires) and wires with bronze or copper coating. The wires have different carbon content depending on their use. We supply to the automotive industry, construction, engineering and metal manufacturing industry, including wires for special use.
We invest in modern technology of a leading technical level which ensures high productivity, safe working and better environmental protection.
Our company succesfuly realized procet “Modernization of bead wire production – Green Technology “, reg. no. CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_049/0008820, which is co-financed from Operative programme Business and innovation for competitiveness, I.e. from resources of European Union and state budget of the Czech Republic.
The subject of project was acquisition of new line for effective and ecological production of innovative bead wire with high added value. The goal of project was implementation of effective production of innovative product and technological procedure, which ensures higher qualitative and utility level of products. This goal is directly related to increasing the competitiveness of KERN s.r.o. at least within European market. Another, no less important, uneconomical goal was to complete elimination of the use of toxic lead. Replacing of lead bath with induction heating has a clear positive impact on the environment and increase in the quality of the employees´ working environment
